Guiding Philosophy

Bombay Cambridge School’s Social Skills

“Be natural through social for spiritual.”
This means, developing into a natural, expressive being, through social skills gained by valuing and maintaining relationships, understanding social responsibility and realizing one’s own unlimited potential for leading a life of caring and happiness for oneself and others.

Our logo symbolizes the five basic elements, earth, water, fire, air and ether. They are the basic substance of all matter, the energy that breathes meaning into the form it assumes. Education is the realization of this true nature of Form which is Self.

Mentor

Guru Rabindranath Tagore
(1861 - 1941)

“To read without thinking is like accumulating building material without building anything. Education should knock at the doors of the mind.”

Principal

Greetings! We are living in the fourth industrial revolution age, an age that is characterized by a range of new technologies fusing the physical, digital and biological world, impacting all disciplines, economies, and industries. As a school, therefore, we have great a responsibility in preparing the future generations that will thrive in this changing landscape.

Here, at BCISE, give students an environment that will help them to keep up and meet the challenges of the future. The curriculum provides an equal balance for all-round development. Along with a strong academic foundation, we help students develop a good personality, 21st century skills and a keenly sensitive social-emotional perspective.

Our classroom teaching facilitates active learning through dynamic methods like hands-on projects, interactive presentations, interesting experiments, intensive research, debates and discussion, and peer learning. This helps students to become effective communicators and independent learners. The extensive use of technology in the classroom has not diminished the role of the teacher. The teacher nurtures the socio-emotional attributes of students through SELC learning where Life Skills, Personal Awareness and Career Exploration, Global Responsive And Sensitivity Programme and Annual Events are integrated seamlessly into the teaching – learning process.

The school focuses on providing optimum exposure, trying not restricting learning to classroom alone. There are many value added programmes like Global Responsiveness and Safety Programme and Personal Awareness and Career Explorations classes that help students to navigate life with equanimity.

We prepare students to keep up with the skills required to solve problems, innovate and succeed. Our goal is to create world graduates who are world-ready, students who are able to express their potential, work collaboratively, be responsible decision makers, sensitive to all living things.
