The Student Council is a committee of students elected by peers. The council has been established to enable the student representatives to put forth their ideas and participate in the planning of school events. They work with the school administration, and student body with regards to projects and initiatives for the school, students and local community. The Student Council mentors younger students, formulates inter-house activities and co-operates with school on development of school rules and regulations. Student Council members bring ideas, requests and feedback to the meetings for discussion.

The council is an instrument of positive transformation for the students and serves as a primary learning ground in leadership before their initial steps in society.
