Cambridge Primary [Grades 1 – 5]
Designed for the age group of 5 to 11 years, the Cambridge Primary curriculum is an excellent framework for learning in the primary years and provides a solid foundation for progression to secondary education. It develops English language, Mathematical and Scientific skills through its curricular stages in these subjects.
The syllabus for Primary also includes subjects like Global Perspectives, Digital Literacy, Social Studies, Marathi and Hindi. Co-curricular subjects like Drawing, PE, Music, Dance and Drama are a part of the daily time table.
The students go through the mandatory evaluations of the school. At the end of primary stage the students can opt for the Primary Checkpoint exam in English, Math and Science, in the month of April
The program develops young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. At each stage, students build on their previous learning – and our syllabus design reflects a ‘spiral’ approach, providing a natural progression throughout the primary years and beyond.
Cambridge Lower Secondary [Grades 6 – 8]
Cambridge Lower Secondary provides excellent preparation for Cambridge Upper Secondary and other educational programs. The curriculum is flexible, challenging and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach.
With BCG’s superior curricular program, highly trained teachers and over 25 years of educational research and refined methodology, the school ensures that each student is able to maximize their academic potential.
Our students build on their skills as they study the languages (English, Marathi, Hindi, French), Math, Science, Social Sciences, Global Perspectives and ICT. The time table balances the academic rigor with co-curricular subjects like Physical Education, Music, Art & Craft.
Cambridge Lower Secondary includes two testing options: Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint. These assessments provide an international benchmark of student achievement, helping teachers to identify learners’ strengths and weaknesses and give advice on progression routes.
